In 2003, tired of the city life that stay tight to us, me Federico
Ghilino and my wife Eleonora Candio moved to live in Langa, relying on the human and practical support of two great friends, Nicola Argamante and Loredana Addari, owners of Podere Ruggeri
We share with them, over a deep and long-course friendship, the same passion for the lands and the great wines of Langhe.
So we began renting some vineyards where we start to produce our first grapes of Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Only some years later, in 2010, the big opportunity we were waiting for turned up: the possibility to buy new vineyards.
We expanded our properties with a plot of Nebbiolo up to Barolo Bussia located in Monforte d'Alba and other vineyards of Barbera and Nebbiolo always located in Monforte d'Alba, Ornato locality.
Our small winery, five hectares of vineyards in total, was born with the plus to allow us to personally run all process in it.
The road has been long, but in 2010 the time get mature enough to start produce our own wines: we started with the Barolo Bussia, later in 2012 Barbera d'Alba and Nebbiolo d'Alba followed and finally a Langhe Bianco - Andi - in 2017.
Currently we partially allocate a portion of the grapes for our own winemaking(that takes place in the Podere Ruggeri Corsini cellar) while we sell the rest.
